Job Summary

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for preparing and operating the press brake machine to bend and form parts and materials for vehicles.

Essential Job Functions

1. Preparation and execution of bend setups and forming operations
2. Coordinate with supervisor to ensure timely material availability
3. Requisition parts and equipment as needed
4. Collaborate with supervisor on machine repairs and troubleshooting
5. Maintain a clean and organized work area
6. Complete documentation including inspection sheets, certificates, and receipts
7. Identify abnormalities and necessary repairs, report to supervisor
8. Suggest process improvements to reduce costs and waste
9. Work efficiently and meet deadlines
10. Participate in relevant training and development
11. Complete work orders within set timelines
12. Maintain cooperative relationships and respect diversity
13. Accurately record all hours worked

Additional Job Functions

• Perform general maintenance on the press brake machine
• Adhere to established work practices, procedures, and policies
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection guidelines
• Follow safety and environmental policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Interaction With

Stock room staff and various internal departments; occasional customer interaction

Experience

Minimum of 3 years' experience with Press Brake Machine

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
