Job description

Press Brake Operator Job Responsibilities Include:

• Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, or punch metals.
• Bend products or assemblies.
• Setup metal dies for operations in forming.
• Align, fit, and rework pieces that fail inspection.
• Select and install tooling, make machine adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers.

Press Brake Operator Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a press brake and using calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds with or without assistance, bend, twist, and reach.
• Ability to grip, twist wrist, and tighten hands; standing for 6 hours a day.
