Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• 0 to 1 year of experience operating press brake or similar manufacturing equipment preferred but not required; equivalent mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are valued.

Essential Job Function

The essential functions of the Press Brake Operator role include the set-up, operation, and monitoring of press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts according to prescribed specifications. This includes:

• Accurately assembling and securing metal sheets in the press brake machine using automated or semi-automatic controls.
• Making precise manual or computerized adjustments to machine settings such as pressure and positioning to achieve the desired bend angles and finished component dimensions.
• Conducting quality assurance checks to verify that parts meet detailed design specifications before proceeding with volume production.
• Maintaining clean and organized workstations ensuring all tools and materials are stored safely and machine components are properly maintained.
• Following all company and regulatory safety policies to prevent accidents or workplace injuries at all times.
• Engaging with team leads or supervisors to communicate progress, challenges, or equipment malfunctions to support continuous operational improvement.
• Complying with operational schedules to contribute to timely completion of production targets without compromising quality standards.
