A bit about us:
A well-established precision fabrication company in Columbus is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setup Operator/Fabricator. This is a hands‑on setup position in a fast‑paced, high‑mix/low‑volume job shop. Candidates must be capable of completing their own setups, making adjustments, and producing precision parts. This is not an operator‑only position.
Initial training may take place on first shift, Monday–Friday from 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., or a split shift, Monday–Thursday from 10:00 a.m.–8:30 p.m.

Job Details
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate 85–175-ton CNC and ATC press brakes
- Work with Amada and Toyokoki press brake equipment
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and manufacturing specifications
- Produce parts within tolerances of ±.005 inch and one‑half degree
- Inspect completed parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Adjust machine offsets to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy
- Record inspection results and part characteristics
- Support fabrication, hardware insertion, assembly, finishing, and other shop departments
- Operate grinders, deburring equipment, Fladder finishing equipment, and related machinery
- Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools, including rivet guns
- Participate in on‑the‑job training and cross‑training throughout the facility
- Follow established safety, quality, and ISO‑related procedures
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of press brake setup and operating experience
- Ability to independently perform press brake setups and machine adjustments
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Experience working to tight dimensional and angular tolerances
- Proficiency with calipers and micrometers
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow and retain detailed instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
