Job summary

Web Industries, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Press Assistant (Manufacturing Operator II) to support setup and run of the print press and related equipment. You will prepare materials for packaging, tag and wrap, and safely transport to shipping areas using a forklift.

The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and accurate data entry of production information. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to quality and safe

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience with compatible materials converting including lamination or printing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist press operators with setup and run production.
• Prepare material for packaging and transport using forklift.
• Perform safety inspections and maintain housekeeping.
• Assist in quality and quantity audits of printed products.
• Operate and troubleshoot press area equipment.
• Maintain and change rolls, assist with ink blending as needed.
• Enter production data into systems.
