Job summary

Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a Press Assistant to support the Flexographic Press Operator in setup, operation, and production while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role includes making readies, staging materials, loading splices, assisting with changeovers and web breaks, labeling rolls, maintaining logs, and providing operator coverage as needed to maximize press hall efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• S.M.E.D. training desired.
• One year of machine experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Flexographic Press Operator with make-readies and production.
• Stage raw material rolls and manage splices and labeling.
• Support changeovers, web breaks, and quality logging.
• Operate forklifts as needed and report malfunctions.
• Assist Ink Technicians and maintain clean, organized press area.
