Job summary

A leading global provider of marketing solutions in Quakertown is seeking a production assistant to support equipment operations. Responsibilities include ensuring materials are loaded, adjusting equipment, and assisting with press setup. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of presswork procedures and the ability to operate hand carts and pallet jacks. This hourly position offers a pay rate of $16.50 per hour, plus shift premiums and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Make adjustments to equipment based on the size of the paper.
• Provide basic assistance as needed to prepare equipment for operation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation
• Recycle old/discarded plates
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates

Shift

Sunday - Thursday 11pm to 7am

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $16.50

Shift Premium: $3 per hour

Sign on Bonus: $1000

Disclosure: The pay for this role at the noted location is $16.50/ hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
