Job summary

A leading global provider of marketing solutions is seeking a candidate to assist in the operation of printing equipment, ensuring materials are continuously supplied and making necessary adjustments. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of presswork procedures and the ability to operate necessary machinery. Compensation ranges from $16.83 to $19.60 per hour, with various benefits such as medical coverage, 401(k) with match, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Requires basic knowledge of presswork procedures and materials learned through on the job training.
• Ability to follow instructions to assist in press set up, operation and maintenance.
• Able to operate hand carts, pallet jacks, stackers, and hydraulic feed mechanisms.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are loaded into feeders to supply a constant flow.
• Make adjustments to equipment based on the size of the paper.
• Deliver equipment components for installation.
• Recycle old or discarded plates.
• Provide basic assistance to make-ready the equipment for operation.
• Assist with tasks associated with make-ready of the plates.

Responsibilities

• Ensure paper or raw materials (inks, glues, etc.) are loaded into feeders, hoppers, bins, etc. to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running
• Make adjustments to equipment such as feeder mechanism based on the size of the paper
• Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation
• Recycle old/discarded plates
• Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation
• Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the plates

Compensation and Benefits

The national pay range for this role is $16.83 - $19.60 per hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location.

In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
