Job summary

Printpack Inc. is seeking a Press Assistant for VR2 in Villa Rica, GA. The night shift runs 8:00pm–8:00am on a 3/2 schedule.

Pay ranges from $18.77 to $28.15 per hour, with a $2.50 night shift premium; overtime and double-time apply. Responsibilities include preparing raw material rolls, splicing, handling inks, operating auxiliary tasks, housekeeping, and supporting the operator to ensure quality and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw material rolls for printing.
• Place rolls in machine and prepare for splicing.
• Assist in removing rolls from rewind.
• Remove and weigh startup rolls at beginning of job.
• Fill and maintain viscosity of all inks.
• Change Doctor Blades and over fill pans.
• Remove and weigh waste from unwind and rewind of machine.
• Empty refuse containers.
• Make waste bales when baler is full.
• Assist operator in any way for efficient operation and monitoring quality of product.
• Prepare Pre-Set up of sleeves, mandrels, anilox, and inks.
• Daily housekeeping

Pay: $18.77 - $28.15 per hour depending on experience Additional night shift premium of $2.50 per hour. Included in overtime hours and double-time hours.

Schedule: 12 hour - Night Shift 8:00pm – 8:00am on a 3/2 schedule.
