Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Press Assistant to support setup, operation, and changeovers on a 24/7 flexographic printing line. You will work alongside the Press Operator to keep production safe, efficient, and low-waste, with starting pay of $20.00/hour plus an 8% shift premium and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

The role requires staging materials, ink handling, core preparation, and routine maintenance support. Night shifts run 5:00 PM–5:00 AM Wed-Fri with alternating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience with flexographic printing presses is a plus.
• Staging ink, plates, cores, and materials for jobs.
• Familiarity with GMP and safety requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Press Operator during setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials.
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area.
• Follow GMP and safety requirements; assist with routine press maintenance.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production on schedule.
• Perform other duties to support press and production operations.

You'll work side-by-side with the Press Operator to keep production running safely, efficiently, and with minimal waste - helping ensure every job is set up for success. You'll be joining a 24/7 flexographic printing operation that offers stable, set schedules and competitive pay: Starting Pay: $20.00/hour + 8% shift premium ($21.60/hour) $2,000 sign-on bonus Night Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM Wed-Fri every other Sat. ? No swing or rotating shifts

In this role, you will:

• Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area
• Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and safety requirements
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production running on schedule
• Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations
