Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Press Assistant to support the setup, operation, changeovers, and maintenance of flexographic printing presses. You’ll work with the Press Operator to keep production running safely, efficiently, and with minimal waste—ensuring every job is prepared for success.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour plus a 6% shift premium ($21.20/hour) with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Day Shift is 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Thurs-Sat, with no swing or rotating shifts.

• Willingness to learn and train on new processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials.
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area.
• Follow GMP and safety requirements.
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production on schedule.
• Perform other duties to support press and production operations.

As a Press Assistant, you play a key role in supporting the setup, operation, changeover, and maintenance of flexographic printing presses. You’ll work side‑by‑side with the Press Operator to keep production running safely, efficiently, and with minimal waste—helping ensure every job is set up for success.

You’ll be joining a 24/7 flexographic printing operation that offers stable, set schedules and competitive pay: Starting Pay: $20.00/hour + 6% shift premium ($21.20/hour) $2,000 sign‑on bonus.

Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thurs‑Sat. every other Sunday ? No swing or rotating shifts.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Press Operator during press setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime
