Job summary

ProMach is seeking a Press Assistant to support setup, operation, changeovers, and maintenance of flexographic printing presses. You will work alongside the Press Operator to keep production safe, efficient, and with minimal waste in a 24/7 operation.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour with a 6% shift premium ($21.20/hour) and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Day shifts run 5:00 AM–5:00 PM Thurs-Sat with every other Sunday off, no swing shifts. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Able to differentiate colors and read a ruler to 1/32 of an inch.

Responsibilities

• Support the Press Operator during setup, operation, and changeovers to minimize waste and downtime.
• Prepare for upcoming jobs by staging ink, plates, cores, and materials.
• Retrieve ink from inventory and assist with cutting and preparing cores as needed.
• Perform general cleaning and empty waste bins to maintain an organized work area.
• Follow GMP and safety requirements.
• Assist with routine press maintenance and support efficient production workflows.
• Coordinate daily responsibilities with the Operator to keep production on schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support press and production operations.
