Job summary

Arvato, a global 3PL service provider, seeks a Web Operator to operate finishing machinery including binders, laminators, folders, and cutters. You will adjust settings, perform quality checks, and maintain output quality while meeting daily production targets.

The role requires hands-on experience with finishing equipment, a mechanical mindset, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with opportunities for growth within a collaborative team

Job Description

The Web Operator is responsible for operating various types of machine equipment including but not limited to perfect binders, saddle stitchers, laminators, folders, die-cutters, flat-bed cutters, high-speed laser printers, and others.

YOUR TASKS

• Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications, accurately and in a timely fashion
• Responsible for performing documented quality checks on product
• Responsible for maintaining machine output quality
• Responsible for maintaining daily production volume requirements on respective shifts
• Ensures that work area is neat and clean to provide a professional and safe working environment
• Ability to operate both the flatbed cutter and 3 knife trimmer
• Ability to run and assist with the laminator and the die-cutter
• Performs various duties including consumable replacement (paper, toner, and developer) to maintain productivity
• Works closely with Production Lead to coordinate production runs

Qualifications

• Able to produce finished products on associated finishing equipment
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed production counts, meeting quality and productivity objectives
• Practical Mathematical skills
• Requires a high school diploma (preferred) or GED (required)
• 2 years of experience in a fast-paced print or media finishing environment (preferred)
