Applicants should be dependable, with knowledge of pre-sort mailing and strong communication. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for most of the shift is required, with overtime possible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail by reviewing proper date, postage, and barcodes
• Communicate and flag errors and bad barcodes
• Troubleshoot and fix mail piece jams
• Monitor mail quality prior to processing and dispatch
• Understand USPS labels and matching bin numbers
• Follow Quality Management Systems for output quality
• Ensure equipment is running properly
• Assist with inbound/outbound processing of mail
• Meet service level agreements (SLAs)
• Promote a clean, safe work area
• Perform additional duties as required
