Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Presort Associate 1 in Orlando, FL. This full-time role offers $17.00 per hour and first shift hours at our Orlando facility. You will be trained to prepare mail with proper postage and barcodes, identify errors, and ensure quality before dispatch.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting jams, following USPS labeling rules, and keeping sorter equipment running smoothly. OT may be required; training and growth opportunities provided.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends or holidays.
• Basic English understanding to follow safety directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing mail with correct date, postage and barcodes.
• Identify and report bad barcodes and errors.
• Troubleshoot and clear mail piece jams from machines.
• Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch.
• Follow USPS labeling and sorting requirements.
• Ensure equipment runs properly and meets SLAs.
• Support inbound/outbound mail processing.
• Maintain clean, safe work area.
