The Opportunity

• We are a private equity holding company looking for an entrepreneurial, high-aptitude leader to step in as President and Operating Partner of an acquired small business in the printing and graphics industry. The business has 2 plants, one in the Atlanta, GA Metro area and another in the Greenville, SC Metro area.
• If you are a high-performing manager with deep operational grit, you have likely dreamed of owning and running your own company—but lacked the capital, the right acquisition target, or the back-office resources to make the leap safely. This role bridges that gap.
• We buy the business, provide the strategic infrastructure, and hand you the keys to run it. In exchange for your leadership, you will receive a competitive base salary, performance bonuses, and meaningful equity ownership in the entity you operate.

Core Responsibilities

As the President, you will own the P&L and day-to-day operations. You will be fully supported by the holding company partners, allowing you to focus entirely on growth and execution.

• Operational Excellence: Assume full leadership of the day-to-day business operations, optimizing production, supply chain, and workforce efficiency.
• P&L Ownership: Manage the company’s bottom line, driving profitability and identifying organic growth opportunities.
• Team Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture, mentoring existing staff and strategically hiring talent as the business scales.
• Holding Company Collaboration: Partner closely with the holding company board to execute the long-term strategic vision.

The Ideal Profile

We care significantly more about raw aptitude, drive, and operational execution than a flashy pedigree. But you must be a natural and driven leader with experience tenaciously growing P&L.

• Experience: 5 years of direct management or leadership experience in a small business, light manufacturing, industrial service, or distribution environment with direct P&L ownership. Direct experience in leadership roles in the commercial printing and graphics industry will be view favorably.
• Aptitude: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of how a physical operation functions from the floor to the front office.
• Ambition: A strong desire to be an owner-operator. You are hungry for the financial upside and professional autonomy of running a company.
• Leadership: A humble, clear communicator who commands respect on a manufacturing floor and can lead a diverse workforce.
