Job description

COMMERCIAL PRINTING & CUSTOM APPAREL CEO NEEDED

Pasco County, FL | Full-Time, On-Site | 10 Years of Industry Experience

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A PROVEN LEADER TO RUN OUR COMPANY.

We are an established, family-owned commercial printing and custom apparel company seeking an experienced, results-driven CEO to lead, manage, and grow our business.

This is not an office manager or production supervisor position.

We need a proven executive who has successfully run a company, managed teams, improved profitability, built effective systems, and delivered measurable growth.

Our founder is stepping away from daily management to focus on vision, sales, relationships, and business development. The CEO will report to the founder and take responsibility for daily leadership, staff, operations, financial performance, and execution.

You will have broad decision-making authority within agreed ownership-approved limits.

OUR GOAL

Build a profitable, efficient, growing company that operates successfully without the founder managing everyday problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Executive Leadership
  • Run daily business operations and take accountability for company performance.
  • Turn ownership’s vision into plans, priorities, measurable goals, and results.
  • Lead departments, make decisions, resolve problems, and improve communication.
  • Build a strong organizational structure and report performance to ownership.
Staff Management & Accountability
  • Directly oversee employees, supervisors, managers, and department leaders.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, discipline, and terminate employees as appropriate.
  • Establish clear responsibilities, performance standards, and accountability.
  • Resolve attendance, productivity, workplace conflicts, and performance issues.
  • Develop leaders, strengthen company culture, and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Handle routine personnel decisions independently rather than escalating them to the founder.
Printing & Apparel Operations
  • Oversee commercial printing, sublimated apparel, custom apparel, and production workflows.
  • Manage scheduling, quality control, capacity, turnaround times, and delivery deadlines.
  • Coordinate sales, design, purchasing, production, and fulfillment.
  • Reduce errors, reprints, waste, downtime, and unnecessary costs.
  • Evaluate equipment, staffing, technology, and production improvements.
Financial Management
  • Take executive accountability for budgets, profitability, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Monitor labor, materials, purchasing, job costing, and profit margins.
  • Review financial reports and work with accounting professionals.
  • Establish financial KPIs, negotiate vendor terms, and improve margins.
  • Make sound financial decisions within approved spending and authority limits.
Projects & Customer Experience
  • Ensure orders move successfully from inquiry through production and delivery.
  • Implement project tracking, scheduling, and follow-up systems.
  • Align sales commitments with production capabilities and deadlines.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain excellent service standards.
Growth, Systems & Execution
  • Partner with the founder to execute growth initiatives and expand capacity.
  • Develop staffing, systems, and processes that support higher sales volume.
  • Establish standard operating procedures, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Improve departmental accountability and build a scalable leadership team.
  • Reduce dependence on the founder for everyday operational decisions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in commercial printing, sublimation, decorated apparel, apparel manufacturing, or closely related manufacturing.
  • Proven executive experience as CEO, President, COO, General Manager, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success leading an established company or significant manufacturing operation.
  • Full P&L responsibility, budgeting, financial management, and profitability improvement.
  • Proven success hiring, managing, developing, and holding teams accountable.
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflows, quality, and customer deadlines.
  • Experience improving systems, efficiency, company performance, and business growth.
  • Excellent judgment, communication, leadership, and independent decision‑making.
Preferred Experience

We especially value candidates who have led a successful printing or apparel company, managed multiple departments and substantial revenue, improved profit margins, built dependable teams, and transitioned a founder‑led business into a professionally managed organization.

WHO YOU ARE

You think like an owner, lead with confidence, understand the production floor, make difficult decisions, and take responsibility for results.

You don’t simply identify problems — you solve them.

You can build systems, develop people, execute growth plans, and keep ownership informed without requiring constant supervision.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Employees know their roles and are held accountable. Production runs efficiently. Orders are accurate, profitable, and on time. Financial results are measured and improved.

Personnel and operational problems are handled by management. The founder can focus on vision, sales, and growth — not everyday employee issues.

THE FOUNDER SETS THE VISION. THE CEO MAKES IT HAPPEN.
