Job summary

Workspire is seeking the President of Construction Services to lead our industrial construction and services business. You will set direction, develop operating leaders, and ensure safe, profitable project delivery, connecting field teams with customers.

You will shape strategy, oversee estimating through closeout, drive performance and quality, manage workforce and equipment, and strengthen client relationships to enable disciplined growth.

Compensation: $300,000 - $350,000 base salary + bonus

About the Role

• We are partnering with an industrial construction and services organization that delivers complex projects across electrical, mechanical, and related construction disciplines.
• The President of Construction Services will provide strategic and operational leadership for the construction services business. This role brings together business performance, project execution, customer relationships, and leadership development to support safe delivery and sustainable profitability.
• The ideal candidate is an executive leader who understands the realities of field execution. They can set direction, develop capable operating leaders, and establish accountability while staying connected to project teams and customers.

What You'll Do

• Set business strategy and operating priorities for construction services. Align market opportunities, project selection, organizational capacity, and financial plans with broader company objectives.
• Lead business performance and P&L management, working with finance and operating leaders to monitor revenue, margins, backlog, cash flow, and forecasts. Address performance gaps and strengthen the connection between business plans and project results.
• Guide construction delivery from estimating and preconstruction through execution and closeout. Establish clear expectations for schedule, cost, quality, customer communication, and project controls.
• Champion safety and quality across construction operations. Partner with field and functional leaders to reinforce accountability, address operational risk, and improve the consistency of execution.
• Coordinate workforce, equipment, procurement, and resource planning with operating teams. Strengthen collaboration across construction disciplines and support field productivity on complex projects.
• Develop senior operating leaders and build a strong leadership bench. Clarify responsibilities, coach performance, and establish an operating rhythm that makes priorities and results visible.
• Partner with business development and executive leadership to maintain key customer relationships, evaluate opportunities, and support disciplined growth. Improve processes and reporting while keeping decisions grounded in operational needs.

What We're Looking For

• The ideal candidate brings executive or senior operating leadership experience in construction, industrial services, or specialty contracting. Experience leading a business with direct financial accountability and complex field operations is particularly relevant.
• A strong understanding of construction delivery, project economics, estimating, workforce planning, and operational risk will support success. Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or related industrial construction work would be valuable.
