Role Overview

Title: President/COO

Job Type: Full time

Location: Remote, preferably near San Francisco or able to travel frequently to the Bay Area.

We seek an experienced President/COO to lead our organization, implementing systems and plans that clarify success components in a vision-driven company. This role involves integrating key business functions, translating ideas into actionable plans, and aligning daily operations with long-term growth objectives. The successful candidate will drive accountability, culture, and expectations to help the firm achieve its goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Bridge the Visionary and leadership team to ensure strategic goals are met.
    • Develop a 5-year business plan with clear milestones and targets.
    • Manage the company's operating plan, tracking progress on Rocks and KPIs.
    • Identify and implement key metrics to measure effectiveness.
    • Lead in executing major changes and resolving issues for business, employees, and clients.
    • Facilitate quarterly and annual planning using the EOS Process.
  2. Communication & Alignment:
    • Maintain consistent messaging across the organization.
    • Align employee incentives with company success through metrics and cultural values.
    • Foster a cohesive leadership team.
    • Hold senior management accountable and remove obstacles.
    • Ensure adherence to core processes and effective communication.
  3. Leadership Team Management:
    • Drive execution of the company's vision across departments.
    • Manage, motivate, and mentor leaders in operations and client-facing roles.
    • Ensure the right talent is in the right roles using EOS tools.
    • Serve as a cultural and operational anchor, promoting cross-functional alignment.
    • Address critical issues promptly and effectively.
  4. Daily Operational Execution:
    • Oversee daily operations and major projects.
    • Enhance processes for scalability and efficiency.
    • Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements.
    • Align operations with strategic and budget goals.
    • Foster collaboration and problem-solving culture.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership as President/COO or similar role.
  • Strong operational, organizational, and team leadership skills.
  • Experience in business development or marketing in a service environment.
  • Detail-oriented with financial acumen.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and make tough decisions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in finance, economics, social sciences, mathematics, or business preferred.
