Riverside Health Care (Riverside) is a fully accredited multi-site, multi-faceted health care system providing service to the Rainy River District and is the third largest provider in spectacular Northwestern Ontario. The President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) joins Riverside Health Care at a pivotal moment of opportunity and transformation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide visionary leadership to a multi-site healthcare organization serving communities across the Rainy River District and play a central role in shaping the future of healthcare delivery in Northwestern Ontario. As Riverside continues to advance its strategic priorities, strengthen regional partnerships, advocate for capital investment, and navigate an evolving healthcare landscape, the CEO will unite the organization around a shared vision while ensuring exceptional care for patients, residents, clients, and families. This is an opportunity to lead an organization with deep community roots and a committed workforce while positioning Riverside for long-term sustainability and success. Leading during a period of increasing service demands, workforce pressures, financial constraints, and system transformation, the CEO will foster greater alignment across Riverside's sites, services, and teams while strengthening a culture of collaboration and shared purpose. As the organization's primary ambassador, they will build trusted relationships with First Nations communities, Ontario Health, the Ministry of Health, municipal leaders, physicians, staff, volunteers, donors, and regional partners, ensuring Riverside is well positioned to influence the future of healthcare across the region. By championing a "One Riverside" culture and advancing strategic partnerships, the CEO will help secure the resources, investments, and relationships needed to support high-quality care for years to come.
