The Moran Company is pleased to partner with Adagio Health to recruit the organization's next President & CEO.

For over 50 years, Adagio Health has been a trusted provider of health, wellness, and nutrition services, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families across western Pennsylvania and beyond. With a strong commitment to accessible, high-quality care, the organization serves over 115,000 patients and clients annually through seven medical offices, five WIC offices, and a wide network of external clinical and community locations. Adagio Health leads critical programs in reproductive health, maternal and child health, cancer screening, food security, diabetes prevention, tobacco cessation, and more.

As the steward of multiple family planning, healthcare, and nutrition programs in the region, Adagio Health ensures comprehensive, compassionate care for those most in need. The organization’s mission is supported by a diverse funding portfolio, including federal and state programs, third-party reimbursement for medical services, foundation grants, corporate partnerships, and individual donations.

The President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) provides visionary leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight to ensure the continued growth, financial sustainability, and impact of Adagio Health. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission, driving innovation, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare partners, government agencies, donors, and the communities served.

The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with expertise in nonprofit healthcare administration, public health, and organizational strategy. They will champion health equity and access to essential services for individuals in western Pennsylvania and beyond, ensuring Adagio Health remains a leading resource for healthcare and wellness services in underserved communities.

The President & CEO will provide strategic leadership to expand Adagio Health’s impact, strengthen access to services, and ensure long-term organizational sustainability. The role oversees fundraising, revenue diversification, multi-site healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, financial management, and the recruitment and retention of a strong team. The CEO will build relationships with healthcare systems, government agencies, community organizations, and advocacy partners while advancing women’s health, reproductive care, and health equity. The position also serves as the organization’s chief ambassador and works closely with the Board to promote effective governance, transparency, and alignment with Adagio Health’s mission.

The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit healthcare, public health, or a related field, with demonstrated success in strategic growth, financial management, fundraising, and organizational impact. They should have strong knowledge of women’s health, reproductive care, healthcare access, Medicaid and other third-party payer arrangements, healthcare policy, and the social determinants of health. A deep commitment to women’s and public health, reproductive rights, nutrition, food security, and health equity for underserved populations is essential.

The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 annually. Compensation is supplemented by a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision insurance, a 403(b) retirement plan, PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays. Relocation expenses are negotiable.
