Job summary

Advantage One Credit Union in Morrison, IL seeks a President to plan, direct and control all credit union activities in line with Board directives and member interests. You will ensure financial stability, member satisfaction, and strategic leadership across all functional areas.

The role requires a business-related degree, credit union experience, and management and lending expertise, with CUNA School A plus; you will drive policy, compliance and performance while guiding staff and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a business-related field.
• Significant management and lending experience in a credit union setting.
• CUNA School certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct all credit union operations including planning and implementing programs, policies and procedures.
• Provide strategic or administrative direction and management across ALM, business development, compliance, finance, human resources, investments, lending, marketing, operations, risk management and security.
• Manage the day-to-day operation, establish office procedures to use staff and facility effectively, promote products and services, provide outstanding member service and achieve goals.
• Develop, recommend, and implement financial policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, NCUA and other federal agencies.
• Supervise the budget.
• Evaluate job performance.
• Any other duty that the Board of Directors may require.
