The client is seeking a President to serve as its chief executive, based in Concord, New Hampshire, and reporting to the Board of Directors. This top leadership role carries full responsibility for organizational strategy, grantmaking, finance, investments, communications, external partnerships, and the stewardship of an eight‑person staff. The President will build on an existing strategic plan, lead the team to execute priorities, and leverage the organization’s statewide and national reputation to expand its impact.

The client expects the incoming President to earn credibility quickly, honor the momentum of current initiatives, and provide exceptional judgment while navigating a politically complex environment. The President will help sharpen the organization’s theory of change as it approaches the next planning cycle and will strengthen trust-based internal management and governance practices. The role also involves working closely with Board-level structures that support governance and fiduciary oversight, as well as advisory input representing regional voices across the state.

The President is expected to lead with The client’s core values of equity, courage, partnership, compassion, integrity, and respect. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a salary range of $275,000 to $300,000 and a generous benefits package, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s skills and experience.
