Job description

Imagine the next chapter you could lead

Imagine working with an established brand, a team that takes pride in its craft, and a founder who cares deeply about the people behind the business. At ALLBRiGHT, you will have the opportunity to turn a strong foundation into the next chapter of profitable growth.

You'll have the opportunity to lead a company where your decisions shape the strategy, strengthen the team, and improve the experience for customers across greater Los Angeles. As President, you will lead the business, own its performance, and partner closely with the founder on vision and long-term direction.

Imagine growing ALLBRiGHT from $14 million to $20 million in annual revenue over the next two years while achieving double-digit net profit margins. Your mission is to build the leadership, systems, and capacity that will deliver stronger financial results, leaders who own their outcomes, and operations that run with greater clarity and consistency.

About ALLBRiGHT

Since 1987, ALLBRiGHT has grown from a young man with a few wooden signs and a simple mission to make people happy into a nationally recognized painting and home services brand. We serve homeowners, commercial clients, HOAs, and local governments throughout Santa Clarita, the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, and Ventura County.

Our services include residential and commercial painting, floor coatings, waterproofing and reconstruction. Our Paint It Forward charity initiative reflects our belief that this business can make a difference beyond the brush. Our core values, Better, Brighter, Faster, guide how we lead, serve, and grow.

See yourself leading
  • Company strategy and execution: Picture yourself using your EOS and business operating systems experience to turn vision into clear priorities, measurable scorecards, and consistent follow-through across Sales, Production, Finance, and HR. Align leaders around profitable growth.
  • Financial performance: Own company profit and loss results. Lead budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow and margins, manage overhead, improve pricing discipline, and protect profitability.
  • Leadership and accountability: Leadership and accountability. Lead and develop the management team overseeing 85+ people, including 12 to 15 leadership and support roles. Clarify decision-making, set expectations, and follow through on performance commitments.
  • Operational excellence: Build consistent systems for estimating, scheduling, staffing, project delivery, and quality control. Remove bottlenecks, reduce costly rework, and ensure production capacity supports sales commitments.
  • People and culture: Mentor and coach hungry, smart junior team members and emerging leaders. Build their ability to solve problems, own decisions, and remove bottlenecks, creating more time for you to focus on strategy while maintaining clear performance standards.
  • Customer experience and safety: Set expectations for craftsmanship, communication, and service. Oversee safety training, documentation, reporting, and accountability across the business.
  • Growth and innovation: Evaluate expansion opportunities and readiness for additional locations. Use KPIs, financial dashboards, CRM tools, AI, and automation to improve visibility, decisions, and execution.
  • Founder partnership: Bring clear recommendations, surface risks early, and maintain an effective rhythm for reviewing strategy, investments, and company performance with the founder.
What you bring

You are hungry, humble, and people smart. You enjoy leading leaders, making thoughtful decisions, and turning ambitious goals into steady progress. You understand that a healthy culture and financial discipline reinforce each other.

  • A demonstrated record of leading a business with responsibility for financial results, teams, and execution.
  • Experience improving profitability, managing budgets, and using financial and operational data to make decisions.
  • The ability to develop leaders, set clear expectations, and address performance issues directly and respectfully.
  • Proven success building systems and staffing capacity that support growth without sacrificing quality, safety, or customer service.
  • Confidence using technology, including AI and automation, with the judgment to choose tools that solve real business problems.
  • EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) or comparable business operating system experience.
  • Home services experience preferred, along with familiarity with sales, accounting, HR, and project delivery.
  • At least six years of high-level business management experience, with a record of results that demonstrates readiness for company-wide leadership.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Formal education matters but far less than competence, judgment, and results.
