The Parks & Recreation Department is looking to hire a Preschool & Youth Instructor.
This is a part-time position instructing preschool and/or youth classes in the Parks and Recreation activity program. Classes may include (but are not limited to) preschool crafts, music, movement and dance, youth crafts and STEAM classes.
Most classes consist of a four or six-week sessions and are 45 minute or 2-hour durations. We offer a flexible schedule in setting class times and days, however, fall programs have already been set. Programs are quarterly and are advertised in our recreation brochure. The department handles publicity, registration, class lists, facility reservation and printing of written materials.
The instructor will be responsible for the planning and content of the class, arranging for supplies, conducting the program, cleaning up the facilities used and providing evaluation at the conclusion of the program.
