Humble Hearts Academy Preschool & Infant Center is seeking a passionate TK Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, monitor developmental progress, and foster a warm, inclusive classroom environment for children.

We value creativity, teamwork, and adaptability in our staff. Ideal candidates hold a High School diploma with ECE units (AA in ECE preferred) and are willing to perform diapering, potty training, and nap supervision as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver lesson plans and assess developmental needs of students

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING:

• Create and deliver lesson plans, implement school curriculum, and assess developmental needs of students.
• Maintain a clean, healthy and safe environment.
• Communicate positively with students, parents and staff.
• Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
• Serve and monitor meals
• Assist children with personal needs such as diaper changing, potty training, hand washing
• Supervise children during nap time
• Assisting with any duties as needed by the program such as dishes, cleaning, and laundry

WHAT’S REQUIRED:

• Pass a background check
• Up to date on immunizations
• Negative TB test
• High School diploma required. AA in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• 12 ECE units OR minimum of 6 ECE units and currently enrolled in ECE courses
• Must be willing to change diapers and potty train
• Ability to stand up and sit on the ground for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
