Starting pay is $17.38/hr with 36 hours of college credit or substitute teacher training; $18.38/hr with a 4-year degree. Benefits are included. DESE Substitute Certification is required to work.

Qualifications

• Official transcripts required for 36 college credit hours.
• Copy of HS diploma, GED or HISET (translated if applicable).
• DESE Substitute Certification required before working.

Responsibilities

• Assist full-time teachers with daily lesson plans and classroom organization.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and organized environment.
• Engage with students and support routines and transitions throughout the day.
• Follow a flexible schedule and collaborate with the teacher.
• Support classroom management and supervision as directed by the teacher.
