Parkway Schools is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant 1.0 for the 2026/2027 school year. This full-time FLOAT position offers starting pay of $17.38/hr with 36 college credits or substitute training, and $18.38/hr with a 4-year degree.

The role supports teachers, reinforces lessons, and helps manage daily classroom routines. Under certified teacher supervision, you will assist with lesson plans, classroom organization, and student engagement while promoting constructive practices and ongoing

Qualifications

• Requires at least 36 college credit hours with official transcripts.
• Alternative: completion of substitute teacher training with HS diploma/GED/HISET and DESE Substitute Certification.

POSITION SUMMARY
To improve the educational program by assisting the instructional and administrative staff. The Teaching Assistant will assist full-time teachers, reinforcing materials and lessons covered in the classroom to facilitate student learning. Under the direction of a certified teacher, performs a variety of classroom, general, and clerical duties related to assisting a student.
