Job summary

Community Consolidated School District 59 is seeking a Preschool Teaching Assistant for the Early Learning Center to support students' learning, socialization, safety, mobility, and behavior. The position runs 10 months a year, with a 7-hour day from 8:20 a.m.

to 3:50 p.m., and offers a Type 2 paraprofessional scale with pay between $19.99 and $21.26 per hour. Candidates must hold an ELS (PARA) License and have experience with children on the Autism Spectrum.

Qualifications

• ELS (PARA) License (formerly Paraprofessional approval) required.
• Experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum preferred (i.e., discrete trials, ABA, etc)
