League School for Autism in Walpole, MA is seeking a Teacher Assistant for its year-round program. Starting pay is $22.50–$26.40 per hour, with schedule Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

You will support students with IEPs, supervise in classrooms and campus, and assist with daily living tasks under the guidance of licensed staff. The role includes data recording, participation in curriculum development, and collaboration with the team to implement behavior plans.

Qualifications

• Experience working with autistic individuals preferred.
• Para-professional or teacher’s aide experience preferred.
• CPR, First Aid, Safety Care certifications (training provided).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass nationwide fingerprint background checks.

Responsabilités

• Implements lessons and tasks per IEPs in classroom, school and community.
• Supervises students in classroom and building at all times.
• Supports students 1:1 or small groups (up to 4).
• Assists with activities of daily living as needed.
• Supports residential students with daily routines and school day prep.
• Maintains data on IEP goals and behavior.
• Participates in curriculum content development and behavior strategies.
• Drives/transports students to community sites as needed.
• Attends meetings and trainings; collaborates with staff.
