Job summary

Learning Grove in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a dedicated preschool assistant to support the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering a nurturing early learning curriculum. You will help create a clean, safe classroom and support families through positive communication and inclusive practices.

Responsibilities include enforcing age-appropriate routines, assisting with meals and nutrition activities, and ensuring licensing ratios are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, and write English.
• Support lead teacher in development and implementation of lesson plans.
• Experience working with young children and families.
• Compliance with TB testing and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing curriculum under the Lead Teacher.
• Maintain a clean, safe, stimulating classroom appropriate to each child.
• Share housekeeping responsibilities with staff and model teamwork.
• Promote healthy eating through family style meals and nutrition activities.
• Meet and maintain licensing ratios for the group.
• In the Lead Teacher’s absence, provide leadership and maintain professionalism.
