Job summary

NEMCSA in Croswell, MI is seeking a Preschool Teacher to create a safe, nurturing classroom where children build foundational skills for kindergarten success.

You'll support children's development across social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical domains; partner with families; and participate in ongoing training to support school readiness goals. This is a full-time position in Head Start with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a valid Michigan Teaching certificate and a ZA endorsement, or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood – General and Special Education ZS endorsement, or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education with preschool specialization
  • Two years’ Head Start or early childhood program experience preferred.

What You'll Do

Requirements

What We Will Love About You:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a valid Michigan Teaching certificate and a ZA endorsement or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood – General and Special Education ZS endorsement or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education (major) with specialization in preschool teaching is required.
  • Two years’ experience in Head Start or other Early Childhood Program is preferred.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
