Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness,, and safety of the classroom environment.
• Complete all paperwork such as daily notes, accident reports, and attendance reports.
• Participate in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as scheduled.
• Supervise and assist children during activities.
• Counsel children on social, academic, or adjustment issues.
• Prepare and implement lesson plans, programs, and schedules.
• Develop instructional aids and materials for classroom activities.
• Assist children during mealtimes and clean-up.
• Ensure all equipment is in good condition and properly maintained.
• Arrange the classroom into interest areas.
• Supervise other staff to ensure a well-functioning classroom.
• Communicate with parents and maintain developmental profiles.
• Conduct parent/teacher conferences throughout the year.
• Follow the classroom medication schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
