Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team. You will create a warm, inclusive classroom and build strong relationships with children and families while implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.

Under the School Director, you will ensure safety, document incidents, and help lead training and professional development, contributing to a supportive work environment and quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow all safety procedures, including Name-to-Face accountability, food allergy processes, bottle-feeding procedures, and Safe Sleep practices.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence-required systems and communication tools to communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe and well-supervised classroom.
• Accurately document and report accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors.
• Follow Cadence Education policies, procedures, and standards outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development.
• Flexibility is essential; schedules may change based on enrollment and needs.
