Job summary

Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) seeks a Preschool Teacher 2 to join a supportive teaching team in Plant City, FL. You will provide developmentally appropriate activities that nurture physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth in young children within a safe, nurturing environment.

You will work with an experienced Teacher, using the HighScope curriculum to shape daily routines and interactions, while collaborating with families and meeting RCMA and DCF requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum education per RCMA: FCCPC Birth to Five, or Preschool National CDA (Center-Based), or ECPC, or CCAC, or NECC Credential Verification, or college coursework with 9 credits in ECE and 480 hours experience.
• Must maintain enrollment toward AA/AS degree while working.

Responsibilities

• Work with an experienced Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate activities.
• Use HighScope curriculum to plan environments, activities, schedules, and routines.
• Observe and assess children to support RCMA School Readiness goals.
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom and outdoor environment.
• Engage families as partners in children’s development.
• Adhere to RCMA funding and DCF requirements.
