Job summary

AppleTree Prep in Kentucky is seeking a Preschool Teacher to support the classroom team, supervise children, and bring curriculum to life in a safe, nurturing environment.

You will assist with daily activities, communicate with families, and help maintain appropriate ratios. Qualifications include a high school diploma and CPR/First Aid; prior preschool experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience with young children in childcare or preschool preferred.
• Basic understanding of classroom procedures and licensing requirements.
• Must meet state education, certification (including CPR/First Aid where required), licensing, and background checks.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with families and team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Assist with daily activities and curriculum implementation.
• Provide active supervision and ensure safety and proper ratios.
• Support children's development through positive guidance and play.
• Assist with routines and communication with families and school operations.
• Contribute to overall school operations.
