Job summary

Cadence Education in Kentucky seeks a passionate Preschool Teacher to support daily classroom operations and implement our early childhood programs. You will help create a safe, nurturing environment and support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you’ll greet families, assist with curriculum, follow safety and licensing guidelines, and partner with families to foster a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety procedures (food, sleep, allergies)
• Able to work collaboratively in a classroom
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Greet children and families daily and establish welcoming relationships.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Communicate professionally with families and leadership using Cadence tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision policies and report incidents.
• Help manage child behaviors in line with Cadence policies.
• Participate in meetings, trainings and professional development as needed.
