Child Development Schools in Lexington, Kentucky is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support Lead Teachers in delivering age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers. You’ll help create a warm, safe classroom that encourages curiosity, kindness, and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required; coursework in ECE is a plus.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Support Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom meeting licensing/ratio requirements.
• Engage with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time.
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher.
• Build relationships with families through daily communication.
• Assist with attendance and daily reports.
