Job summary

Primrose School of Maple Grove is seeking an Assistant or Lead Teacher to support daily classroom activities and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment for young children.

Collaborate with your co-teacher to implement the Balanced Learning curriculum, build relationships with children, and maintain an organized, engaging classroom.

Applicants should meet MN Rule 3, have experience in licensed early childhood programs, lift up to 35 lbs, and hold First Aid/CPR certifications.

Qualifications

• Assistant or Lead Teacher qualified through MN Rule 3.
• Experience in licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs for child safety and program activities.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Observe rules and regulations pertaining to health, safety and care of children.
• Assist with implementing the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in line with the Balanced Learning curriculum.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
