Primrose School of Maple Grove is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant or Lead Teacher to support the Balanced Learning Curriculum and daily classroom activities. You will help guide young children through structured lessons, play, and exploration in a nurturing environment.

The role emphasizes safety, child development, and teamwork with a fellow teacher to maintain low ratios and a strong learning rhythm. A supportive leadership team and ongoing professional growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Assistant or Lead Teacher qualified through MN Rule 3.
• Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.
• First Aid and CPR certifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Observe all rules and regulations pertaining to health, safety and care of children.
• Assist with the implementation of the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.
• Assist with maintaining an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions.
