Job summary

Primrose School of Maple Grove seeks an Assistant or Lead Teacher qualified through MN Rule 3 to join our caring team. You will support daily class functions, follow the Balanced Learning curriculum, and help create a safe, engaging environment for young children.

Join us to work with a collaborative team, maintain low child-to-teacher ratios, and contribute to child development through singing, storytelling, and hands-on activities.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified through MN Rule 3.
• Experience in licensed early childhood program preferred.
• Knowledge of social, emotional, and creative needs of young children.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. for child handling.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
• Observe health, safety, and care regulations applicable to Primrose-powered programs.
• Assist with implementing approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule.
• Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages exploration and confident decision-making.
