Job summary

The Oregon Child Development Coalition is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support the classroom teacher in providing a nurturing and educational environment for children. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with an Oregon Registry Step of at least 8.
• Must obtain a Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate within 6 months.
• Training or coursework in early childhood development is required.

Responsibilities

• Support teacher in maintaining a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Supervise children using positive guidance techniques.
• Assist with classroom setup, organization, and cleaning.
• Help implement individual curricula and classroom activities.
