Qualifications

• Preschool Teacher Assistant E- positions listed with hourly wages: $19.58–$21.76; Metro locations: $22.67–$23.93.
• Preschool Teacher Assistant CE positions: $20.95–$23.28; Metro locations: $23.05–$25.61.
• Preschool Teacher Assistant C positions: $20.95–$23.28; Metro locations: $23.05–$25.61.
• Preschool Teacher Assistant A positions: $22.42–$24.91; Metro locations: $25.01–$27.40.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom teacher to maintain a safe, positive, engaging learning environment.
• Supervise children indoors and outdoors with positive guidance.
• Assist with classroom setup, organization, cleaning, and inventory.
• Support implementation of curriculum and daily activities.
• Assist with observations, assessments, and maintaining portfolios and documentation.
• Communicate regularly with the teacher regarding health, behavior, and development.
• Promote healthy nutrition, wellness, and child development.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
