Job summary

Cadence Education in Fort Thomas, KY is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under supervision of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and assist in implementing Cadence Education programs to meet diverse developmental needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare or early childhood education, a willingness to obtain necessary background clearances, and the ability to work flexible

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families and build professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior plans.
• Support curriculum implementation and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Education policies and safety manuals, documenting incidents as required.
• Assist with managing and reporting escalated child behaviors per procedures.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
