Cadence Education in Pleasant Valley, NY is hiring a Preschool/Pre‑K Teacher Assistant to support a safe, nurturing classroom environment and implement Cadence Education programs under the direction of School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help address developmental needs, IEPs, and family communication while promoting strong relationships and a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Follow safety procedures, including allergy protocols, feeding, and Safe Sleep practices.
• Work collaboratively with classroom staff and leadership.
• Read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, respectful classroom environment for all children.
• Greet families daily and build professional relationships.
• Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence programs.
• Communicate with families using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision policies and report incidents.
• Assist with managing and documenting child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
