Job summary

Cadence Education in Nolensville, TN is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant to support daily classroom activities under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. You will help maintain a safe, nurturing environment and assist with implementing Cadence Education programs.

Ideal candidates have experience in childcare or early childhood education and are committed to professional development, including opportunities like CDA and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher Assistant.
• Experience in early childhood education is preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive and respectful classroom environment.
• Greet children and families and build professional relationships.
• Help recognize and respond to individual developmental and learning needs, following IEPs and behavior plans.
• Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families and staff using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Cadence Safety and Supervision Manual and report accidents/incidents.
• Assist with managing and reporting escalated child behaviors per Cadence procedures.
• Adhere to all Cadence policies and Employee Handbook.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development.
