Preschool Teacher Assistant ($500 Signing Bonus) (Open Until Filled)

About the Position: Engage children in activities designed to promote social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth in preparation for Kindergarten. Utilize program curriculum to work with children daily, addressing individual educational goals. Collaborate with families to support their child's educational success.

Compensation: $19.82/hr. The signing bonus is paid in two installments: the first on your first paycheck, and the second after successful completion of your 90-day probationary period.

Eligibility: Bonuses apply to specific positions indicated in the job posting. Current employees transferring departments are not eligible. Employees who resigned or were dismissed within the last 12 months are ineligible.

Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; Washington State Early Childhood Education Certificate or CDA preferred; Associate or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.

Related Experience: At least three months of work with children (birth to age 5) and families in childcare, education, or related fields.

Required Certifications and Prerequisites: Negative TB test, Pediatric CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens Certification, Food Handler’s card, compliance with vaccination policy, 30 hours of STARS training (within 30 days), pass an agility exam, and background check.

Terms of Employment: Full-Time, Entry Level, in the Education and Training industry within Government Administration.
