Job summary

Council Bluffs Community School District is seeking a Preschool Teacher Assistant for College View Elementary School. The role runs 7.5 hours daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and pays $16.95–$17.40/hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, IPERS, personal and sick leave, and summers off. Qualified candidates will hold a CDA or higher education in early childhood/education (Associate’s with 12 EC/ED hours or Bachelor’s with 12 EC/ED hours).

Qualifications

• CDA required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree must include at least 12 hours of early childhood/education courses.
• CPR/First Aid training or certification is required or will be arranged by HR.

Additional Requirements

• Experience working with young people in an education setting preferred.
