Job summary

Walgett Community College – Primary School is seeking a qualified preschool teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will implement a play-based and intentional preschool program, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, and collaborate with families and community groups to support Aboriginal student participation.

Salary includes a base range with leave loading and superannuation. A relocation payment of up to $8,000 is available for eligible applicants, and applicants must

Qualifications

• Approval to teach preschool holding an ACECQA approved teaching qualification, with working knowledge of the National Quality Framework.
• Demonstrated commitment to protecting the safety, wellbeing and rights of all children.
• Ability to plan and implement a preschool program based on the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a whole school team to design and evaluate programs.
• Commitment to the Connected Communities strategy when embedding cultural responsiveness into the preschool program.
