The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role focuses on helping maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment while supporting teachers with daily routines and learning experiences.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working as part of a collaborative teaching team in a structured early childhood setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior childcare or preschool experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom routines and daily learning activities.
• Assist with developmentally appropriate experiences across age groups.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Help guide children through meals, transitions, and learning centers.
• Support classroom preparation and activity setup.
• Communicate professionally with families and team members.

Assistant Teacher (Childcare & Preschool)

Location: The Learning Experience – Hudson Yards, New York, NY

Pay: $18–$20 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
